Job Opportunity: Project Design Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer to lead design projects in operational data centers that remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure or add new services.
You will be the primary engineering resource for these projects and provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. You will utilize your mechanical expertise to own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions that add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability and/or increase sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed design and equipment submittal reviews for Data Centers in your region.
- Collaborate with internal and external data center design engineering teams, server hardware teams, environmental health and safety teams, field engineering and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for your given discipline during new remediation projects.
- SUPPORT CONSTRUCTION, COMMISSIONING, OPERATIONS AND TURNOVER.
