Production Operations Manager


About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Manager to lead our production team in achieving exceptional results. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating all technical and maintenance activities in support of production, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly operation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective methods of preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal resource deployment.
  • Oversee the development and tracking of departmental KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance.
  • Champion asset condition management through the use of new technologies to maximize uptime and identify early signs of failure.
Requirements To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong background in engineering or technical leadership, preferably within the life science, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry. Essential qualifications include:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in an engineering/technical/maintenance leadership role.
  • Trades qualification (an advantage).
  • Engineering degree (Level 7 or 8) in mechanical or electrical engineering or recognized equivalent (an advantage).
Ideal candidates will also have experience with planning and executing change within high-paced environments, as well as the ability to teach and coach others.
