Customer Experience Host

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Host.

Job Description

This role involves providing an exceptional customer experience for all visitors to our showroom, ensuring they feel welcome and valued throughout their visit. You will be responsible for facilitating the meet and greet process, ensuring both customers and visitors have an individual experience in line with our brand expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the full meet and greet process, being organized and proactive to ensure a seamless experience for our customers and visitors.
  • Retain ownership of the customer until other departments have dealt with them, providing excellent communication and service skills.
  • Contribute fully within the team, maintaining a positive and professional environment.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required, including merchandising and display maintenance.
  • Encourage rapport building with customers who are waiting, ensuring they are not left unattended for long periods.
  • Welcome customers and visitors to the showroom in a warm, prompt, efficient and professional manner, providing hospitality as required.
  • Be familiar with daily operations within the Reception Department and escalate any issues affecting smooth operations to a Senior Manager.
  • Maintain good working relationships with management and colleagues to help achieve company goals.
  • Assist with showroom preparation, including merchandise and displays.
  • Support the Centre Management team with ad-hoc administration.
  • Maintain professional standards of personal and centre presentation, keeping the Reception area and Coffee Lounge clean, tidy and presentable.
  • Ensure catering supplies for the Lounge area are in stock and accessible to customers.
  • Take responsibility for associated tasks to ensure efficient operation within the Reception area and department.
  • Notify a Manager of any breakdown or damage to equipment and action reasonable requests from Sales, Aftersales, Head of Business or CEO.
  • Participate in upholding the company Health & Safety policy and comply with employment conditions.
Requirements
  • Passionate about customer service with drive, ambition and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including Mondays to Saturdays.
  • Proactive, organized and capable of working as part of a team.
