Role Overview

This position involves working as an Orthopaedic Sales Specialist, focusing on the distribution of a portfolio of hip, knee, and robotic implant products in Ireland. The successful candidate will be part of a growing team and will be responsible for managing assigned accounts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete Orthopaedic Joint replacement Hips, Knees & Mako Robotics portfolio in assigned accounts.
  • Work primarily in the Operating Theatre environment.
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial inquiries.
  • Develop relationships with key customers to create lasting business partnerships.
  • Achieve sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Conduct business planning and implementation within the area of responsibility. Identify new opportunities and potential clients through interactions with customers and partners in the Irish market.
  • Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and market changes; suggest ideas to improve product and company performance.
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings in Ireland and elsewhere as required.
Key Qualifications
  • Technical qualification with aptitude for learning new surgical technologies.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or technology service in hospital settings; experience in medical device manufacturing & design considered.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a Hospital Operating Room environment.
  • Strong technical and sales skills with a focus on customer service & patient safety.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence customers.
  • Good administration and computing skills; commercially aware with ability to manage a complex business.
  • Team player with drive and resilience.
