
Meetings and Events Coordinator

The Heritage is seeking a highly skilled and organized Meetings and Events Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.
This role requires the ability to manage all aspects of the Events Department, ensuring that procedures are followed and standards are continually reviewed and improved.
Key responsibilities include carrying out administrative tasks, managing meetings and events, dealing with customer queries, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Additional duties may include attending trade shows, promoting services, and working closely with department managers.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to business leads, and the ability to work closely with senior management.
As a Meetings and Events Executive, you will be responsible for devising and implementing effective event standards, reviewing procedures, and ensuring colleagues adhere to them.
You will also be required to develop relationships with key group and incentive operators to maximize revenue opportunities.
Other responsibilities may include participating in training programs, having a comprehensive knowledge of local history and attractions, and being responsible for internal and external calls.

- To carry out the effective administrative tasks of our sales department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional customer service in a very genuine and caring manner.
- To devise, review and ensure effective implementation of all Events standards of performance procedures ensuring that colleagues are always adhering to them
- Attending promotional events.
- Developing relationships with key group and incentive operators.
- Having a comprehensive knowledge of the local surrounding areas in terms of history, facilities and attractions.
- Identifying and following up potential business leads.
OTHER DUTIES: The above list in not exhaustive; you will be expected to comply with any reasonable request or duties as directed by Sales & Event Manager and Senior Management.
