Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist Role

At Lotus Care, we strive to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to live full and satisfying lives. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose children presenting with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, interventions, and recommendations aligned with best practice and professional standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including families, carers, schools, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in discharge planning, care pathways, and onward referral processes to maintain continuity of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3rd level qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
- CORU registration
- 1 year post-qualification experience working with children/young adults with ID
- Holds a full clean driving license and access to a car
