Job Summary

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and documented work instructions according to Design Standards using SolidWorks. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with engineering teams at customer sites during custom design projects and contribute positively towards continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  1. Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, and documented work instructions according to Design Standards using SolidWorks.
  2. Work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with design engineers in other manufacturing locations to release new products.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams at customer sites during custom design projects and ensure accuracy and consistency in the production of work instructions and drawings.
  4. Contribute positively towards continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. 1-5 years of mechanical design experience, ideally with a similar product range.
  3. Proven knowledge and experience in SolidWorks.
  4. Good planning, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  5. Deadline-oriented and detail-focused.
