Job Title: Policy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement scalable Google Ads policies for Shopping advertising and content.
  • Identify gaps or conflicts in existing policy framework and develop scalable solutions.
  • Manage and resolve escalations from internal and external parties.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and teams to influence product decisions and prioritize user experience.

About the Job:

The Trust & Safety team identifies and tackles big problems that challenge safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, problem-solving skills, and communication to protect users and partners from abuse across Google products.

As a Policy Specialist, you will drive change to products, policies, systems, and processes. You will ensure policy intent is translated into execution, explain policies to internal and external audiences, and optimize policy implementation for efficiency and scale.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
