Job Summary

A seasoned structural design professional is sought after to spearhead our engineering team's structural design endeavors. The ideal candidate will boast extensive experience in reinforced concrete and facade design, with a proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating structural design deliverables on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate structural design deliverables on high-profile projects.
  • Develop and refine conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for precast facade systems.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with external design team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Facilitate design team meetings and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, focusing on career development and competency enhancement.
  • Monitor team performance through regular reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered Structural Engineer with 10+ years' post-graduate experience, preferably in facades or precast design.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional design teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of Eurocodes, building regulations, and facade detailing principles.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM systems, MS Office, and project management tools; Tekla Structural Designer experience highly regarded.
  • Deep understanding of construction practices and structural design fundamentals.
