About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Jr. Sous Chef.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing the kitchen team and product offerings.
  • To assume responsibility for managing each section of the kitchen to a high standard when required.
  • Prepare dishes for service from start to finish, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain mise en place to a high standard, ensuring it is ready in time for service.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy at all times, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other areas of operation to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu compilation and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the full menu.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in achieving labor and food cost targets.
