Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused professional to provide exceptional customer service, product information, and advice to customers across all product ranges in the pharmacy.

About the Opportunity

This exciting role will see you working closely with the Managing Pharmacist to maintain high standards of category management and merchandising within the pharmacy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Expertise: Provide expert advice and information to customers on all product ranges available in the pharmacy.
  • Stock Control Management: Maintain accurate stock control, including rotation of stock, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring correct supplier details.
  • Professional Customer Interaction: Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with pharmacy customers.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of the pharmacy team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to assist in all areas of the pharmacy operation.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues.
  • Meds Dispensing: Fulfill requests for over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning, referring to the pharmacist when necessary.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain security and handle cash and receipts correctly.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the pharmacy remains clean and tidy, reporting any health and safety issues promptly.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training and development programs to enhance job performance.
Traits and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in pharmacy, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Cashier Experience: Cashier experience is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion: Ability to maintain discretion when addressing customer queries and treat customer/patient information confidentially.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT Skills: BASIC IT skills are an advantage.
