Hotel Accountant Role

The position of Hotel Accountant is a crucial one, requiring the management of various financial aspects of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage room sales and process supplier invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier balances and bank transactions on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor cash and credit card balances to ensure they are reconciled on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure takings are reconciled on a daily basis and agreed back to accounts.
  • Process payroll and gratuity allocation bi-weekly.
  • Track and report revenue and costs.
  • Report on KPIs in a timely manner.
  • Prepare quarterly and month-end accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
