We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in New Ross, Co Wexford. This role involves managing supplier relationships, processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently, reconciling accounts on a monthly basis, and ensuring the purchasing workflow is followed across all operational departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure smooth communication with suppliers.
  • Process a high volume of supplier invoices timely and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with new supplier contracts and procurement processes.
  • Ensure timely payment cycles and efficient purchasing workflows that meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required for this position.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are necessary for success in this role.
  • Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software (advantageous).
  • MS Word and Excel skills are also required.
