Senior Conference Manager Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced conference and project manager to take on a leadership role within our global team. The Senior Conference Manager will be responsible for delivering large, international events while mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full event life cycle from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and client satisfaction.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Global travel for client meetings, site inspections, and live event delivery.
  • Post-event follow-up and evaluation.
  • Overseeing registration and delegate services, including online platforms and reconciliation of payments.
  • Ensuring sound financial management of all events.
  • Developing new business opportunities through account development and relationship building with existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in corporate meetings and events. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • A natural team player who can inspire confidence in both clients and colleagues.
  • Client-focused and results-driven.
  • Natural problem-solving approach with a focus on achieving results.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and high level of computer literacy.
  • Experience with registration systems is advantageous.
