Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with department managers to achieve sales, margin, and waste targets.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor KPI performance.
  • Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation.
  • Drive customer service excellence and resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that supports teamwork and staff development.
  • Liaise with senior management on business performance, initiatives, and future planning.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' management experience in a retail or supermarket environment.
  • Proven ability to manage store operations and deliver on KPIs.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
  • Flexible to work a full-time roster including weekends and evenings as required.
