  • Operate equipment safely and maintain laboratory automation equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, performance testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain QC-related documents and ensure equipment meets performance standards.
  • Adhere to the laboratory's Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures to ensure test accuracy.
  • Maintain complete documentation for assay tracking and results.
  • Participate in the Proficiency Testing Program as assigned and review all test requests thoroughly for errors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience working in a Hematology laboratory.
  • Desirable: experience in peripheral blood film morphology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good laboratory and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
