About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in an acute setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Provide education, support, and advice to patients, families, and carers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and peer support activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with CORU, the Health and Social Care Professionals Council.
  • Proven knowledge of current evidence-based practice in speech, language, and swallowing management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
