
Empathetic Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team. As a Relief Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to residents in line with their individual care plans.
- Main Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity, privacy, choice, safety, and well-being are respected.
Ensure that the principles of the National Standards of Residential Child Care are reflected in the service provided.
Advise the Social Care Manager of any changes in the young people's needs and provide support in accessing information to make informed choices.
Be responsible for implementing the young people's care plans and placement plans through practice.
Support staff to be aware of all aspects of safety and adhere to policies and procedures.
Liaise with Social Care Manager, Deputy Social Care Manager, and staff on issues relating to the centre.
Set and demonstrate good standards of work practice, attending training as required.
Requirements:
A minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Care or a related field (e.g., Nursing, Psychology, Teaching, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Social Work, Social Sciences, or Youth and Community Work).
A thorough knowledge of the principles and practice of social care.
Full Driving License.
Currently undertaking or holding a CORU-recognised Social Care Qualification.
