Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Junior Planner to join our project development and implementation process. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Planning Manager and Project Planning Leads, as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, to deliver cutting-edge projects.

The successful candidate will be based in our Collinstown office, Kildare, with site visits required to ongoing projects in the Leinster region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update the project schedule using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance using EVA (Earned Value Analysis) to identify potential issues and risks.
  • Create/update progress reports for senior management teams.
  • Create/update short-term look ahead schedules to help plan project works.
  • Record evidence of delays and coordinate delay notifications to be issued to the team.
  • Make modifications to the programme as required.
  • Maintenance of the construction schedule.
  • Track planned versus actual progress on a weekly basis.
  • Working with the construction team to capture and log any issues affecting progress.
  • Attend meetings both internal and client-based where required.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years' post-qualification experience in an M&E contracting environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems required, Primavera P6 desirable.
  • Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
