Flood Risk Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flood Risk Manager to lead our flood risk management initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, advising on, and undertaking flood risk management projects and programmes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the work of a project team, ensuring effective resource allocation and budget management.
- Procure and manage outsourced service providers to deliver high-quality services.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve flood risk management practices in Ireland.
- Monitor and manage Health and Safety in compliance with relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a qualification at minimum Level 8 (honours bachelor's degree) in Civil Engineering, Geography or Geoscience, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum of four years relevant post-qualification experience in areas such as flood risk assessment and management, hydrology and hydrological analysis, and coastal processes and analysis.
