Chef Assistant Job

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and flexible individual to join our team as a Chef Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our chefs and contributing to the smooth operation of our kitchen.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. We are happy to provide training to the right candidate.

In addition to your skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work weekends and public holidays. You will also need to be available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and late evenings.

About the Role:
  • Clean and wash crockery, cutlery, glassware, food preparation utensils, and storage containers.
  • Support short order Grill chefs by assisting with food preparation tasks.
  • Stock up the kitchen during the shift.
  • Complete daily cleaning duties.
  • Clean and sanitize work stations throughout the shift and close down heavy equipment at the end of the shift.
