Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CQV Utilities Engineer to join our team. As a CQV Utilities Engineer, you will be working in a fast-paced project where you will have the opportunity to learn new technology and develop your current skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Workplace Safety: Identify risks and implement mitigation actions as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Respond promptly and appropriately to equipment failures or issues in a cross-functional environment.
  • Record Keeping: Record interventions, including failure codes, and provide guidance and solutions for preventative action where required.
  • Maintenance Execution: Execute planned maintenance routines, including predictive, preventative, and calibration activities.
  • Work Order Management: Ensure all Work Orders are completed on time and in a safe and compliant manner, with accurate asset management data captured.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identify improvements in job plan information, and spare parts for planned activities.
  • Vendor Management: Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendors when on site.
  • Training and Development: Support development of training information, cross-train colleagues, and assist with tasks such as set-up, sampling, cleaning, and validation activities.
  • Process Optimization: Work in cross-functional teams using Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes.
  • Audit Readiness: Ensure the site is audit-ready at all times, adhere to house-keeping standards, and complete training on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical related field.
  • Professional Experience: Extensive experience in a maintenance or relevant engineering role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a regulated biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, facilities maintenance, or FMCG facility is required.
  • Safety Focus: Ability to prioritize safety, quality, and reliability in every task.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in following procedures and flexibility to adapt to change.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving ability and adherence to scheduled timelines.
