Memory Walk Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to participate in our Memory Walks on Sunday mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cheer squad and encourage walkers with high-fives and upbeat cheers.
  • Ensure participants' safety by providing water and preventing detours.
  • Guide participants along the route and relay updates to coordinators.
  • Monitor the event's progress and provide assistance as needed.
  • Boost morale by sharing quick facts about our cause.

What's Required:

  • Excellent communication skills to give clear directions and share information with participants and coordinators.

  • Observant skills to spot potential hazards or issues before they become problems.
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Strong teamwork skills to coordinate seamlessly with fellow volunteers and event staff.
  • Calm under pressure to think critically in unexpected situations.
