Description of Role:At the heart of our pharmacy team is a dynamic individual who embodies excellent customer care and support. As a key member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to multitask with ease and demonstrate a passion for providing top-notch service.Responsibilities Include:

  • Handle customer queries regarding over-the-counter medicines, front shop items, and prescriptions politely and courteously.
  • Assist Duty Managers in delivering a confidential, friendly, efficient, and professional healthcare service to the community.
  • Support over-the-counter sales and other front counter duties.
  • Assist customers with non-medical products such as cosmetics and health products.
  • Accurately process monetary transactions.
  • Recognize the importance of good customer service for business success.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Follow operational procedures within the pharmacy.
  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness as directed.
  • Manage stock orders, receive deliveries, check invoices, report discrepancies, and sign invoices.
  • Check and update pricing daily.
  • Complete daily sheets and sign off upon completion.

Organization & Training:

  • Build strong relationships with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Support personal development by building required capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Take ownership of specific initiatives.
  • Be a team player, providing support as needed.
  • Support other locations as required.

Business Acumen:

  • Understand and promote link selling to increase OTC sales.
  • Understand how the role fits within the pharmacy business and contributes to the group's growth.
  • Support the store's strategic goals.
  • Be aware of the financial impact of decisions and strive for operational efficiency.
