We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and enhance our Operational Risk Management framework. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Ireland requirements and aligning our risk appetite with global standards.

  • You will lead operational risk activities, including risk assessments, scenario analysis, KRIs, exceptions, and new initiative reviews.
  • Oversee and challenge our operational risk framework, including risk assessments, scenario analysis, KRIs, exceptions, and new initiatives.
  • Manage and lead the operational risk framework, ensuring effective risk identification, analysis, and review of key tools.
  • Develop and present operational risk reports for senior committees and regulators.
  • Act as secretary for the Operational Risk Committee.
  • Maintain and update policies, frameworks, and governance documents for operational risk and resilience.
  • Oversee and enhance the Operational Resilience framework in line with local regulation.
  • Collaborate with teams globally to align operational risk practices.
  • Provide 2LOD oversight and input into business risk management activities.
  • Stay current on emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in finance, engineering, or a related field (Master's an advantage). They will also possess solid risk management or capital markets experience within financial services/banking, along with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and operational risk best practices.
