Key Responsibilities
The site requires a QEHS Specialist to oversee quality, environmental, and health & safety standards. This includes ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing best practices, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in quality, safety, or environmental roles. They should have a deep understanding of HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP principles and be able to effectively manage the Quality Management System.
This role involves working closely with other departments to provide technical support, education, and problem-solving expertise. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining existing standards, cultivating a positive food safety culture, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety at the site level.
A key aspect of this position is serving as the primary technical contact for customers, suppliers, and third-party relationships, including certifications and accreditations. The candidate should have expert knowledge and fundamental experience as a food safety certification/licence auditor.
Maintenance of the audit-ready state is crucial, along with providing regular updates on new developments and changes in regulatory requirements.
This role may require travel to the Lurgan site.
