Compliance Testing and Oversight Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Testing and Oversight Manager to lead our testing and oversight function. This role is responsible for executing and managing the testing process, including line management and development of a Testing and Oversight Analyst.

This is an opportunity to lead and shape the testing and oversight function for regulated entities, working day-to-day with the Testing and Oversight Analyst on sample testing and creating and managing annual testing plans.

The successful candidate will drive the roll-out of a new testing framework, applying a continuous improvement mindset to enhance its effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead reviews from initial planning through execution and final reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Testing & Oversight Analyst.
  • Adopt a risk-based approach to all testing activities.
  • Create and maintain the approach and methodology for internal control testing.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans that provide assurance to the business and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with business owners to schedule tests.
  • Produce comprehensive test reports and recommendations.
  • Deliver draft reports for review by senior stakeholders.
  • Track responses and action plans.
Requirements:
  • Experience in compliance testing or a related field.
  • Leadership or people-management experience is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of compliance testing methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment.
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with screening tools.
