Job Title: Sustainability Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our organisation's energy management strategy across diverse facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the development, implementation, and delivery of a comprehensive energy management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust energy management strategy that aligns with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on energy consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing measures to reduce waste.
  • Establish and support cross-functional teams to drive energy-efficient practices throughout the organisation.
  • Deliver education and awareness programmes to promote sustainable energy behaviours among staff and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of projects aimed at reducing energy and carbon emissions.
  • Provide technical advice on energy performance, energy-efficient design, and decarbonisation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement environmental policies and sustainability initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in energy management, ideally within large-scale organisations or public sector entities.
  • Track record in leading sustainability and/or behavioural energy change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and external contractors.
  • Relevant qualifications in Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
