Senior Financial Strategist

Location: Dublin (Hybrid Working)

Industry: Technology, Information and Media, Software Development, and Financial Services

This is a high-impact leadership role within a major business unit of a globally recognised organisation. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership and analysis to large-scale business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape business strategies and ensure financial alignment
  • Deliver key financial reports and presentations to executive management
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team within the Business Partnering group
  • Offer commercial insights to anticipate operational needs and drive decision-making
  • Manage complex business units with multiple service lines and departments
  • Contribute to global and regional business strategies, impacting overall success

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 8 years
  • Proven experience managing functional areas and service lines of a plc, MNC or large corporate
  • Currently working in a leadership role in financial analysis, planning, or business partnering
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence and negotiate with executive level management
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels, building strong working partnerships
