Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR specialist to support the growing demands of our workforce.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Cultivate a high-performance work culture by facilitating employee engagement, performance conversations, and regular feedback.
  2. Develop a best-in-class training program and induction process for new employees.
  3. Manage and maintain company HR policies and procedures, update the employee handbook, and ensure adherence to same among managers.
  4. Provide expert advice on best practices in relation to employee relations issues.
  5. Support line managers in dealing with employee matters within their teams through performance management, informal coaching, and investigations as necessary.
  6. Ensure all employee records are accurate and up-to-date, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) with managers, and provide regular reports on HR activity to the management team.
  7. Collaborate with line managers to implement and govern health and safety policies.
  8. Monitor and measure recruitment costs, staff turnover, and health and safety metrics.
Role Profile:
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or certification in human resources or equivalent experience is acceptable. CIPD qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Competencies: Functional: Strong target-orientation and experience setting and achieving KPIs. High level of numeracy and commercial awareness. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence. Good planner and organiser with the ability to make decisions. Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to assess and solve problems. Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Behavioural: Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills complemented by resilience and self-motivation to achieve challenging objectives. Strong relationship building skills and able to build a strong team dynamic. Display strong leadership skills. Ambitious, enthusiastic, and action-oriented. An ideas person with focused thoughts and the ability to appreciate the broader scenario. Display initiative and be a self-starter.
