Csa Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced construction leader to lead a key project in Dublin. This role will involve overseeing a team responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery of a dynamic project environment.

  • Manage the co-ordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
  • Lead and support the CSA team in their roles to successfully deliver the CSA scope on a fast-track and technical project.
  • Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Safety Team.
  • Drive a strong culture with regards Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental matters within your team.
  • Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation aspects for all CSA works.
  • Develop a project delivery strategy for the CSA work.
  • Support the commercial team in creating 'Scope of Work' documents and sub-contract packages.
  • Review client designs and highlight discrepancies or deviations from local and international standards.
  • Protect the company's commercial and contractual position.
  • Manage a detailed site plan regarding Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including onsite management of contractors.
  • Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the Project Planning team.
  • Liaise with the design team and project design manager to ensure necessary information is issued and aligns with the construction schedule.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and resource levels.
  • Chair weekly progress meetings with each CSA supply chain member.
  • Manage and maintain all sub-contractor documentation.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, design and engineering reviews, and handover meetings.
  • Manage close-out of all project items, including punch lists, safety files, and QA files.
  • Issue daily and weekly reports to the project management team members.
Requirements
  • Relevant Construction degree qualification or similar.
  • At least 7 years of CSA construction site experience.
  • Strong background in managing and successfully completing CSA work packages.
  • Ability to maintain an overview of entire project while managing all technical aspects.
  • Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing.
  • Experience in effectively managing internal construction teams.
  • Experience in delivery of large-scale projects.
