Job Title: Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking an experienced supply chain expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of products, meeting quality and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in external customer and supplier interface, schedule adherence and planning, and effective business control and monitoring.
  • The selected candidate will lead on-site teams, assuming responsibility for manufacturing programs, closely monitoring supplier performance to schedule and quality.
  • The candidate will work with suppliers to identify any program constraints or risks and assist them in finding resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Representing the client at program management reviews to escalate any known issues and/or contribute to the development of the supplier.
  • Maintaining good working relationships and clearly defined interfaces.
  • Developing an effective Management Information System supported by agreed metrics and governance process, enabling sufficient program health.
  • Demonstrating highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at a senior level.
  • Providing management information reports to the program office to aid decision making and support on Tier 1 senior reviews.
Interfacing with Suppliers:
  • Acting as an interface point for supplier representatives.
  • Representing the supplier at Engineering and Program change boards as required.
