We are seeking qualified professionals to join our team as Social Care Workers, providing residential and respite care for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Job Description

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a residential setting. Your role will involve creating a safe and enabling environment that promotes autonomy, health, and wellbeing. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for those in your care.

  • Provide residential and respite care to children and adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and interests
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individualized plans
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional degree in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification
  • CORU Registration or in process of registration
  • Previous experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or a similar field
  • Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
