Software Development Lead for Distributed Backend Systems

MongoDB is seeking a skilled software development lead to join the Atlas Clusters Organization.

Job Description:

We empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, provides a globally distributed, multi-cloud database available in over 115 regions across major cloud providers.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for MongoDB Atlas. This includes building large-scale, distributed backend systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Skilled at writing code in compiled languages (Java, C#, Go, etc.)
  • Experience with major cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Able to lead the launch of new modules and maintain them in production
What You'll Achieve:
  • In 3 months, you'll have shipped code into production and contributed to solving tough problems
  • In 6 months, you'll have led the development work on a complex project
  • In 12 months, you'll have designed new features and become an expert on parts of the system
