Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Sales Order Coordinator to join our finance and admin team in Cork on a permanent basis.

This role will involve coordinating and processing all sales orders received, taking orders from various channels and entering them into the order system in a timely and accurate fashion. The successful candidate will also be responsible for email and call handling, maintaining and updating sales and customer records, and managing customer order schedules.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude to work with strong initiative to ensure quality service is provided to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and processing all sales orders received
  • Taking orders from various channels and entering them into the order system
  • Email and call handling in a busy environment
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
  • Managing customer order schedules
  • Liaising with sales reps in relation to queries with their customers
  • Invoicing all customers and resolving any credit requests with the credit controller
  • Checking data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Managing the reception function and ensuring external visitors are granted access to the building
  • Coordinate daily operations, including incoming/outgoing post, delivery management, arranging catering and organisation of meeting rooms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years in a sales order administration position
  • Highly organized, enthusiastic person with good attention to detail
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude to work with strong initiative to ensure quality service is provided to stakeholders
  • An Office Administration or Business-related qualification is advantageous
