Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who has strong technical knowledge of structural engineering and project management skills.

The role will involve working on a range of projects across various sectors including industrial, residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, and civic buildings. The successful candidate will have experience in designing building structures using Eurocodes, preparing manual calculations, and using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, and TEDDS. Knowledge of Revit is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing building structures to the Eurocodes using various materials
  • Preparing manual calculations and using software packages
  • Maintaining design folders and communicating with internal and external parties
  • Preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others
  • Undertaking site inspections under BCAR 2014 and report writing

Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering
  • Proven project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Revit is desirable
