As a seasoned automotive damage appraisal specialist at AIG, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of material damage processes and programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of motor engineering principles, including estimating skills, damage photography analysis, and fraud awareness.

You will work closely with claims teams to ensure that assessments are carried out in accordance with AIG best practice guidelines and that customers receive a high-quality service.

A key aspect of this role is identifying emerging patterns and market trends, working with claims management to implement positive solutions.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to differentiate mechanical problems from accident-related problems, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Additionally, you will be expected to maintain current knowledge of vehicle construction trends and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
