This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team providing intervention to children aged 0-18 years with complex developmental needs.
The role involves working as part of an inter-disciplinary team, delivering services based on a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services.
We welcome applicants who are passionate about contributing to lean healthcare practices and supporting continuous improvement and transformational change.
- A recognised Occupational Therapist qualification and registration or eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist by CORU are essential requirements.
- Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills are also crucial for this role.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills are key to success in this position.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities would be beneficial.
- Experience working with children with physical disabilities would also be valuable.
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder would be advantageous.
- Experience completing Assessment of Need would be highly desirable.
Please note that a full driving license and access to own car are required for this role. Candidates without a current driving license are encouraged to apply, and there will be an explanation at interview stage.
