Occupational Therapist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team providing intervention to children aged 0-18 years with complex developmental needs.

The role involves working as part of an inter-disciplinary team, delivering services based on a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services.

We welcome applicants who are passionate about contributing to lean healthcare practices and supporting continuous improvement and transformational change.

  • A recognised Occupational Therapist qualification and registration or eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist by CORU are essential requirements.
  • Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills are also crucial for this role.
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills are key to success in this position.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities would be beneficial.
  • Experience working with children with physical disabilities would also be valuable.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder would be advantageous.
  • Experience completing Assessment of Need would be highly desirable.
