Children's Mental Health Specialists
We are seeking skilled Clinical Psychologists to join our dynamic teams providing early intervention and tailored psychological supports to children and young people within their communities.
Our multidisciplinary teams offer a range of high-quality psychological services, helping families navigate complex emotional, developmental and behavioural challenges including Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Anxiety and mood-related difficulties, Attachment, family and school-related issues.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and healthcare professionals, delivering evidence-informed, child-centred interventions.
- Engage in goal setting, therapeutic planning, and case formulation to provide effective support to children, families, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
- Offer consultation and support to parents, carers, and educators on child development, parenting strategies, and educational approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological assessments and therapeutic support to children presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide individual and group-based psychological interventions as appropriate.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through PSI registration.
- Candidates must meet eligibility criteria for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Demonstrable knowledge of various psychological assessment and therapeutic models is essential.
- Experience delivering psychological interventions to children and families is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
