Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Dublin

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting a staff grade Occupational Therapist for a permanent position in partnership with our client, a leading provider of services to patients with mental health conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured team providing occupational therapy services to patients with a range of mental health conditions through a specialist rehabilitation unit and residential treatment centre.

As an Occupational Therapist, your main duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment/intervention programmes for clients according to professional standards.
  • Collaborating with residents, families, carers and other staff in goal setting and treatment/intervention planning.
  • Participating in the multi-disciplinary/healthcare team and working in cooperation and collaboration with team members.
  • Managing, participating and playing a key role in the practice education of student therapists and promoting and engaging in the teaching/training/support of others as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist and registration with CORU or be eligible for same.
  • Ideal relevant post qualification clinical experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting, relevant placement experience will be considered.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
