Senior Taxation Specialist Role Overview

Our firm is seeking an experienced Senior Taxation Specialist to join its tax department. The role involves managing a diverse client portfolio and working closely with partners.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and work closely with partners and other departments.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge across all tax heads and prepare tax computations.
  • Compute adjusted profit, prepare Capital Allowances Schedules, and file income tax returns.
  • Handle Revenue audits/investigations and related client correspondence.
  • Provide tax planning support for transactions such as buy-outs and restructuring.
  • Manage CT1 preparation and submission for limited companies via ROS.
  • Critically analyse information, prioritise workload, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' senior-level experience in taxation.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to use initiative, and high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle complex tax matters.
