High-achieving Financial Analysts are sought after to spearhead the creation of accurate and timely general ledger entries.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for posting GL journals, managing monthly US GAAP reporting, and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • They will work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing or payment issues and with Accounts Receivable to address invoicing or receipt issues.
  • The selected professional will monitor and resolve cash management items and review bank reconciliations as necessary.
  • They will analyze large volumes of data, manage manual recharges, and handle quarterly and ad-hoc corporate schedules.

Responsibilities also include taking full ownership of several balance sheet account reconciliations and intercompany balances.

The successful candidate must ensure all intercompany transactions are supported by agreements and participate in Sarbanes-Oxley requirements across the organization.

Delivering exceptional customer service by partnering with key business unit finance staff and maintaining high-quality service levels is crucial.

A positive approach to problem-solving with financial and commercial awareness is essential.

The position requires a team player who can uphold professional relationships within the Shared Service Centre and contribute to achieving service-level performance targets.

Requirements
  • Fully Qualified Accountant with statutory accounts and audit experience.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley and ERP systems experience, proven track record in business partnership, and high-volume reconciliation experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of GA processes and procedures, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Good attendance and timekeeping record, technical competence, and fluency in English are expected.
