C++ Python AI Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced C++ Python AI Software Engineer to join our team in Cork City, Ireland or Cambridge, England.

The role involves developing and evaluating AI infrastructures for multiple Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solutions and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational software and artificial intelligence, shaping the future of innovative solutions.

  • Design and development of Agentic AI infrastructures and features, with high quality and performant deliverables.
  • Evaluation of existing and emerging AI technologies and tools suitable for EDA problems.
  • Reporting and documenting on AI processes and results.
  • Effective communication, learning from, and educating other engineers in the theory and best practices of AI application.
  • Collaboration with colleagues and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Good degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years programming skills in C++, Python.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development best practices and Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a diverse/multi-cultural environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or understanding of electronic design.
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment.
  • Experience dealing with customers & external stakeholders.
