About This Opportunity

This senior geologist position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects by providing practical solutions to environmental and engineering challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will perform diverse technical tasks, including fieldwork and analytical design, to support engineering projects.
  • Taking responsibility for geotechnical desk studies, field mapping, hazard assessment, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Conducting technical design, procurement, monitoring, laboratory scheduling, and interpretation of site investigations for a wide variety of ground conditions in diverse environments.

To excel in this challenging role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent in Geology, Earth Science, Engineering Geology, or related field.
  • Preferably a Master's degree or higher in Engineering Geology, Soil Mechanics, or related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation or Chartered Status from recognized organizations such as the Institute of Geologists of Ireland, European Federation of Geologists, or similar.
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility for fieldwork and travel.
