Job Opportunity

The Connemara Coast Hotel is seeking a skilled Night Porter to join their team. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of the hotel during the night shift.

About the Role

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You will be assisting the Night Manager with various tasks, including checking in and out guests, handling luggage and porterage, and cleaning designated areas.

  • Cleaning public and staff areas, including the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, and meeting room floor
  • Assisting with guest requests and maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Ensuring the front entrance and outside of the hotel are clean and tidy

You will also be required to have a full understanding of the hotel's fire procedures and ensure the safety of all staff and guests at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in hospitality
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • A warm and friendly personality when dealing with colleagues and guests
