We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Team Lead to join our organization. As a Team Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Our mission is to bridge people with new and meaningful opportunities, where individuals have a right of choice, full participation, individualized planning, respect, services that enhance quality of life, opportunities to develop and maintain natural supports, positive action, advocacy, the support of a cohesive team, and relationships built on the principle of partnership.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for coordinating services on a daily basis, ensuring that all program standards are met and that the overall quality of the program is upheld.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing supervision support to people during various activities of daily living
  • Couching, encouraging, motivating, educating, and supporting people throughout their daily experiences
  • Assisting with completion of lesson plans/calendar for the specialized habilitation program
  • Ensuring that supplies are stocked/organized, and the day program facility is clean at the beginning and end of the day
  • Training staff on person specific and program information including OJT's and protocols
  • Leading the SH daily activities to ensure people served have the best possible experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working with people with disabilities, children, or elderly persons
  • A High School Diploma or GED, bachelors' degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
