Senior Cost Manager Position Available

Our organization is currently seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our infrastructure business, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients across various prestigious projects in Ireland.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other project stakeholders.
  • Administering contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Proactively managing cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Managing contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and best practice.
  • Driving improvements in forecast accuracy and budgets.
  • Providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.

Requirements:
  • Numerate and computer literate with high competence in Microsoft Excel and contract administration software.
  • Familiarity and experience of both pre- and post-contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post-contract cost control, contract administration, value management/engineering, risk management, and final accounts.
  • Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience.
  • Experience in large civil engineering projects in the rail, water, or aviation sectors.
  • Working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract.
  • Chartered via RICS or SCSI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence at senior levels, and think strategically.
  • Hold the right to work in Ireland & UK.
