We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Estimator to play a critical role in the success of our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project management to deliver accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand project requirements and identify key stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates across labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, taking into account potential risks and value engineering opportunities.
  • Visit project sites (as needed) to assess conditions and gather critical information, including site-specific details and supplier quotes.
  • Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project specifications.
  • Produce detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documentation, highlighting areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, optimize project schedules, and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 34 years of post-grad experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in fit-out / construction, with a strong understanding of estimating, cost management, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with industry-leading software such as Evaluate and Procore, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
