Audit Senior - Aviation, Securitisation

Job Overview:

We are seeking ambitious professionals to join our team as Audit Seniors in the Aviation and Securitisation sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, work on complex projects, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments, control testing, and substantive audit work to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses, particularly in aviation, structured finance, and asset management sectors.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all audit work meets professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies.
  • Contribute to the improvement of audit processes and tools, driving efficiency and maintaining high audit quality.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in external audit, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge with practical experience applying IFRS; knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP or US GAAP is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Exposure to a diverse client portfolio; experience with aviation leasing, SPVs, funds, or financial services clients is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and committed to a long-term career in practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and build rapport with clients.
