This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and ready to grow into a challenging position. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing applications and assessing claims for life and serious illness products
  • Making accurate and timely decisions, following internal guidelines and standards
  • Clearly explaining decisions to customers and advisers in a supportive, professional way

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the company's success every day
  • Maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude and acting with integrity in everything you do

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent German (written and spoken) – this is essential for effective communication with customers and colleagues
  • A couple of years' experience in underwriting or claims for life/serious illness insurance
  • Alternatively, a medical background (e.g. nursing or medical degree) or a relevant business or industry qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Good time management and organisational ability will enable you to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
